General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all orders and services provided through the website www.neylaetoile.ch by Stephanie Degen-Meier (NEYLA ÉTOILE), Switzerland.
Offer and Products
All jewelry offered is handcrafted with great care. Since these are handmade products and natural materials are used, slight variations in color, shape, pattern, structure, or size may occur.
Custom orders are made according to the customer’s specifications and are coordinated as far as possible before production begins.
Prices
All prices are listed in Swiss francs (CHF). The prices listed at the time of the order apply.
Order and Conclusion of Contract
By placing an order, the customer submits a binding offer. The contract is concluded as soon as the order is confirmed.
For custom-made items, production begins only after consultation and confirmation.
Payment
Payment is made using the payment methods offered on the website.
Production of custom jewelry or gift boxes can only begin after payment has been received.
Delivery
Delivery is made to the shipping address provided at the time of order. The customer is responsible for providing a complete and correct shipping address.
Delivery times may vary depending on the product, particularly for custom-made jewelry or gift boxes. Delays due to material procurement or custom design are possible.
If a shipment cannot be delivered due to an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable shipping address, or if it is not picked up on time and is therefore returned to NEYLA ÉTOILE, the customer shall bear the resulting additional shipping and return costs.
The item will be reshipped after the returned shipment has been received, the correct shipping address has been confirmed, and the additional shipping costs have been paid.
If the failure to deliver is due to an error on the part of NEYLA ÉTOILE, the customer will not incur any additional shipping costs.
In individual cases, NEYLA ÉTOILE may waive the additional charges as a gesture of goodwill. This does not entitle the customer to a corresponding goodwill gesture for future orders.
Returns and Cancellations
Jewelry that is not custom-made or personalized may be returned within 14 days of receipt. A return is only possible if the item is unworn, undamaged, and in its original condition.
NEYLA ÉTOILE must be contacted before returning any items. The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
Custom-made or personalized jewelry, gift certificates, sale items, and other discounted items are excluded from voluntary returns.
An order may be canceled as long as it has not yet been shipped. For custom-made or personalized products, cancellation is no longer possible once production has begun.
Mandatory statutory consumer rights remain unaffected by these provisions.
Warranty and Defects
NEYLA ÉTOILE provides a voluntary warranty of 6 months from the date of purchase for its handmade jewelry. This warranty covers material or workmanship defects that are not caused by normal wear and tear, improper handling, or external influences.
In particular, the voluntary warranty does not cover normal signs of wear, natural changes in the materials, damage caused by water, perfume, cosmetics, or chemicals, as well as damage resulting from pulling, tearing, impacts, or other improper use. Lost jewelry or individual lost components are also not covered by the warranty.
In the event of a warranty claim, please contact NEYLA ÉTOILE and provide the order number or proof of purchase and, if possible, photos of the piece of jewelry. After inspection, a repair or replacement will be offered depending on the nature of the defect.
The voluntary warranty does not limit statutory warranty and defect rights.
Liability
NEYLA ÉTOILE assumes no liability for damage resulting from improper use, normal wear and tear, or external influences. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.
